The open setting of the fulll kitchen and livingroom that has a gas fireplace and dining area adds living space and charm to this antique home. Comfortable furniture but no TV. The second floor has 2 sleeping areas with 1 double bed and a bunk bed with double on bottom and twin on top. The cottage sleeps 7. Main floor has a bedroom and the 1 bath with a shower. Outdoor charcoal grill situated on the porch is ideal for grilling.

Easy walk to nearby hiking trails at Mount Pisgah, Bald Mountain, and Devil's Rock, a popular spot with the kids for jumping in the lake from a perch. Drive to public beach. This house may not be suitable for families with very small children or older adults not able to maneuver the 2nd floor stairs. Cottage not open from late October to May 1.
